La Maison Radha

Sam and Ravi were the best part, warm hosts with genuinely useful local recommendations that made the trip better. La Maison Radha is close to everything, yet tucked away enough to feel like a little escape. The room was clean and cared for, with good air conditioning, and the Wi-Fi actually worked. The kitchen was a treat for anyone who likes to cook while travelling: it had all the utensils I needed and a water machine for drinking water. There’s also a rooftop spot that’s lovely for a sunset drink. The only letdown was the bed, which wasn’t especially comfortable, more character-building than luxurious. Still, the rest of the stay made up for it, and the hosts made me feel right at home.

Mr. Ravi is a considerate gentleman who goes out of his way to help. He even offers rental bikes, which made things much more convenient. The location is great, and guests can use a shared kitchen and dining room, with a water purifier so there’s no need to buy plastic bottles, saving money and helping nature. I think he’s the best host I’ve ever met. The pictures I uploaded show what I mean. Mr. Sam was very nice too, and shared valuable tips that helped us use our time wisely. Thank you for hosting us.

The rooms and scooty rates are very reasonable, a little lower than the market, and the hygiene is top notch. Ravi sir helped us find an auto to the bus stand at night. When we left our pan cards behind, he even couriered them to us. That really shows the care and hospitality here. Ravi sir and Sam make La Maison Radha a heartwarming place, with service that stands out. A complete 5 star experience.

I loved everything about La Maison Radha. The house is right in the center of Pondy, with restaurants, shops, public transport, and everything else close by, so it’s an ideal base to explore. Ravi was responsive before I arrived and helped arrange how I’d get there. I stayed in the colorful, fun Elephant room, with plenty of space to move around and even do yoga. The kitchen, fridge, and shared spaces were all available to use, and the terrace is beautiful. They gave me a detailed map with very good suggestions and took care of me throughout. I had to leave late on my last day, so they let me extend checkout for half a day.
