OYO 62555 Victoria's Heritage

The room had a bad odor from the moment I walked in, and the bathroom and bed linens were dirty. I even saw cockroaches moving around freely. The wall paint was peeling off in flakes, and the flooring was damaged and torn in several spots. I saw a management response to a review from a month earlier promising an inspection and cleanup, but it doesn’t look like any of that happened. I’ve traveled extensively across South India and haven’t seen a property in such poor condition. I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Victoria's Heritage, Muthiyalpet. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

The rooms are very good, and the customer care and staff are nice. Dilli Babu.

The ceiling fan rattled loudly all night, making it almost impossible to sleep. We only stayed because it was a weekend and most nearby hotels were already fully booked at the last minute. The room was tiny, dusty, poorly cleaned, and strongly smelled bad as soon as we entered. It was unhygienic and not fit for a family. The whole experience was terrible and caused my family distress and inconvenience. We expected basic cleanliness and comfort, but got neither. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. You can also see the attached pictures. I don’t understand how it got a 4.7 rating on Google.

The hotel was nothing like I expected, and the staff were begging guests for good ratings. Worst hotel.
