They were rude to us because we were with our kids. They wanted only couples to come, particularly foreigners. It was the first time I felt discriminated against in my own country, and that too by a foreigner.

The setting and atmosphere are lovely. Our issue was the food: it cost quite a lot, and the portions felt very unsatisfactory.

I’ve been here before, and unfortunately the service problem has come up again. The staff seemed inattentive when we ordered, and basic requests were ignored or met with pushback. There wasn’t much warmth or courtesy either, with no smiles and sometimes arguments with customers. The pork and crème caramel were enjoyable, but good dishes can only go so far when the hospitality is this poor. I hope management works on it, since the service overshadows the food.

You can walk around and enjoy what White Town has to offer, and the heritage property itself has a lovely garden and a great atmosphere. It is said to be over 100 years old. The menu is limited, though the food we had was good. Sudha and Geraldine were good hosts. The flooring in the room we stayed in, B2, needs some improvement.
