My experience was very bad. Our team of 33 from West Bengal stayed here on 28 February and 1 March 2026. The manager and owners were very rude, behaving like Gunda/Mastan. The rooms weren’t properly cleaned or maintained, and the AC, TV, door lock, cistern flush, remote, and geyser weren’t working properly. We had to deal with these problems. Then, at checkout, they blamed us for damaging things and demanded payment. We hadn’t reported the problems, and I personally experienced all of this and paid what they demanded. I feel their policy is to force money from visitors. It’s a bogus hotel in Port Blair, and I ask visitors not to choose it.

The rooms on the 4th floor are excellent, with a view of the sea from up high. Breakfast was good, and the rooms were neat and clean. Helpful, courteous staff were cooperative too. It’s a very good-value budget hotel, and I’d recommend it for a family stay.

Jaya mam was especially supportive, and the staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help. The location was convenient, and the service went beyond what I expected. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The rooms were spacious and decent for the price, and the food was tasty and homely. Staff were very helpful and courteous, always willing to assist with a smile. Management handled things smoothly and responded quickly when we asked for help, which made the stay comfortable. Hotel Anchorage Inn is well placed near the airport, jetty, and main attractions, so getting around Port Blair was easy. A good budget option if warm hospitality and convenience matter more to you than luxury.

The atmosphere was lovely, and I loved everything about the place. I was comfortable during my stay, and the food was simply delicious. I’d happily come back and highly recommend it.
