Hotel Rhishabh Port Blair

A good place for a worry-free, enjoyable trip. The staff looked after us really well, including taking care of our belongings. That stood out because at some hotels the employees don’t do much when the owner isn’t around, but here they were attentive even without that. It felt like home.

I spent nearly 25 days at Rhishabh Hotel and left feeling I was leaving family behind. Indrani, Rohit, and the staff, including Urmila, Ranjit, Subir, Babloo, and Kasturi, looked after me throughout. When I came down with a high fever and chest congestion near the end, Indrani and Rohit checked on me, bought medicines and other provisions, and even drove me to the airport. I’ll always be grateful for their care and warmth, and I’ll miss our conversations. The hotel is budget-friendly and close to several sights, including Cellular Jail, Marina Park, Flag Point, and Aberdeen Bazaar. The rooms were comfortable, the food felt home-cooked, and the staff were helpful. They even prepared packed breakfast for my 3 a.m. departure to Baratang. Rohit arranged trips to Baratang and Mount Harriet, and told the driver to take extra care because I was their personal guest. There’s an ocean view from this homely hotel in a relatively quiet neighborhood, while the main attractions are still within reach. It was ideal for me, and I highly recommend it.

Our visit on February 14 and 15, 2026, was one we’ll remember. The owner and staff were kind and gracious, and treated us with real respect and care. We felt more like family than hotel guests. The food was especially good, full of flavor and much nicer than outside options, with the warmth of a homemade meal. Thank you for your hospitality and cooperation.

Families will find Hotel Rhishabh a good option. It’s in a peaceful, upscale area, with basic amenities and easy access to Port Blair’s main sightseeing spots. The food was excellent, and the owner and staff were very cordial. The property was also neat and clean.
