Hotel SRI KPN

Meeting the owner in person was a memorable part of my visit. We had a lovely conversation, and I was impressed by his warmth and humility. Shri KPN Hotel also had spotless, well maintained rooms that made for a comfortable stay. Requests were handled quickly and with a smile, and the food was delicious and freshly prepared. The staff worked hard and showed great hospitality, making guests feel at home. I highly recommend Shri KPN Hotel and Porter for a clean, friendly, welcoming stay.

The practical side worked well for a sightseeing trip. Hotel Sri KPN is on Austinabad Road near Carbyn Junction, close to Corbyn’s Cove Beach and the main tourist routes. The airport is around 10-15 minutes away, with easy connections to Aberdeen Bazaar, Cellular Jail, and Ross Island. It’s a solid budget to midrange option for families, groups, and tourists who want comfort and good food without spending too much, rather than a luxury property. Overall rating: 4.0-4.2 / 5. Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned with basic furnishings, and cleanliness is generally maintained. Daily housekeeping is available, and the rooms suit families and groups, though some guests mention maintenance inconsistencies. Staff are usually polite, helpful, and quick to respond, with some guests appreciating personal attention for families. There’s an in-house multi-cuisine restaurant, with South Indian dishes such as rasam and fish curry especially noted. Breakfast and other meals are available on site, and the food is often described as tasty and homely. Amenities include free WiFi, parking, a 24-hour front desk, room service, laundry, and a doctor on call. Guests have reported issues with AC, locks, and WiFi in some rooms, and there’s no elevator, only stairs.

The staff stood out for me. Everyone was respectful, polite, and ready to help with a smile, whether I needed room service, directions to nearby places, or help with a small request. Housekeeping also kept the room fresh and tidy throughout my visit. Hotel KPN in Austinabad, Sri Vijay Puram, Port Blair felt peaceful, safe, and well connected, making it easy to explore. My room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, with a comfortable bed, hygienic washroom, and the basic amenities provided properly. The neat interiors made it a relaxing place to return to after travelling or sightseeing. It was excellent value for money, with great rooms, supportive staff, and a very good location. I was happy with the experience and would gladly stay again on a future visit. I recommend it to families, solo travelers, and anyone visiting Port Blair.

We had a wonderful time at Sri KPN, and the staff and manager were so friendly. The room was really big, and the food was tasty, with both North Indian and South Indian options. I’d recommend it as one of the best hotels in Andaman. My stay here was much better than my stays on havelock and Neil island.
