4/10
The property and ambience looked good, and this stretch of the highway could really use a place with good atmosphere and good food. The restaurant could become popular quickly if they worked on the food and promoted it. We stopped there while travelling on the highway to Kochi. Service was average, and the waiters couldn't answer basic questions about the recipes listed on the menu. The plating looked good, but the food tasted awful.

Prem made the service during my stay smooth and pleasant. He was polite and attentive, took my order, and brought the food to my room promptly. He handled everything professionally and had a friendly manner.

At Clay House, the rooms were thoughtfully designed and the staff made us feel welcome as soon as I arrived. They were attentive and clearly wanted us to be comfortable. Service stayed top-notch throughout. Responses were quick, interactions were friendly, and the staff showed real care. It made a big difference to the stay.

Lunch at Clay House was really enjoyable, and we were happy with the food and service. Cathleen, Prem, Grace and Da were especially warm and hospitable. Thanks to them, and keep it up.

The restaurant service was horrible. We waited 20 minutes just to get drinking water after asking, and the wait was too long in general. The menu was limited, the food wasn't tasty, and there weren't enough staff. They weren't polite and couldn't understand English or Malayalam.
