Ambrosia Resort and Spa

Ambrosia has a premium, tasteful atmosphere, tucked among dense trees with plenty of nature around. It feels away from the city bustle, though Chandni chowk is just 5 mins away. We had a lovely family dinner. Food is always perfect here, and the staff are polite and give you time to lounge and decide what to order. Take it easy, get your favorite drink, and enjoy your meal at your own pace.

The beautiful ambience was the only good part of our visit to Frangipani. On 22nd October, a hot day, all the doors were open and the air conditioning was off. It felt like saving electricity mattered more than keeping customers comfortable. The gaps between dishes were so long that we lost interest and just wanted to leave. Some servers were polite, but the main servers seemed laid back and unprofessional, as though taking our order was a favor. They ignored calls or took ages to respond, then suddenly became attentive when it was time to bring the bill. After all that, they still expected a tip. The food was just as disappointing. The Chicken Galouti was burnt and unbearably salty. When we mentioned it, the server casually said, “Yeah, that’s how it comes.” We ordered two gravies with different meats, but they tasted exactly the same. Of three Indian breads, only one was edible. The naan was so hard we left it, and our request for a replacement was ignored. The mocktails came ice-cold even though we’d clearly asked for no ice or less ice. It’s shocking that such a beautiful place has such poor food and service. Anyone visiting should be prepared for long waits, unresponsive staff, and food that doesn’t meet basic expectations.

The facilities were well maintained, and parking was available with someone guiding us. I visited for an event and found the food and service good. The approach road is currently under construction.

The food was a real hit with our guests. They loved the taste and quality, from soup through dessert. Special thanks to Ambrosia’s head chef, Mr.Amol Patil, and to Mr.Netaji for making sure it was served warm and just right. We hosted an event at Ambrosia, and the resort management was supportive throughout. Mr.Amrut Patil was very cooperative and shaped the event around our needs, while Mr.Sathe helped keep everything on plan. Our decorator, Mr. Dnyaneshwar Sonawane, was helpful too and came up with great ideas for creating a lovely atmosphere. I’m completely satisfied with the service and would highly recommend Ambrosia for events and parties.
