FabHotel Olive Suite

I booked two nights in advance, but there was no way to choose a check-in time. I tried customer care around 60 times and got no answer. When I reached the hotel at 6:45, the receptionist insisted I pay 1000 Rs for early morning check-in. He then suggested I cancel the online booking and take a cheaper room, which seemed reasonable, so I did. Their policy only gives refunds for cancellations made seven days ahead, even though I had booked just the day before. I later reached booking assistance and asked to speak with a service executive. A person called VIKAS took the call about three times, each time saying it was my fault and that I should pay the early check-in charge, then hanging up. They seem to be using the franchise arrangement to scam people. The rooms may not look like the pictures, and I don't trust the comments either. You can go and see the place for yourself. I wouldn't make a prepaid booking with FAB hotels.

Vijay at the front desk was especially good and clearly knew his job. The staff were kind, professional, and well mannered, and Olive Suites was clean and peaceful as usual. I had a good stay.

The location is very central and close to the Airport. The rooms are a bit cramped, but the place is clean, with clean toilets and bed linen. They gave us water bottles on the first day, then stopped providing them, so that should be daily. Breakfast was okay. We had eggs with bread, and those were good.

We had booking IDs but the manager still refused to give us rooms. He was only pleasant until we asked questions, like what was available for breakfast or whether we could see a room before paying. They take payment in advance without giving a bill. The whole experience was awful.
