After booking well ahead for a comfortable stay, I arrived with my 6-year-old child and learned the hotel's tie-up with FabHotels had ended three months earlier. Yet bookings and payments were still being taken through the platform. I found that misleading and unacceptable. We were left without accommodation, stranded and under serious stress. Support offered no alternative or transfer to another hotel, and instead asked me to pay almost double to arrange a stay elsewhere. Traveling with a minor made the mental, financial, and emotional strain especially difficult. This was a deeply disappointing failure in customer handling and leaves me seriously questioning the credibility of the service.

They didn't provide the complimentary breakfast that was listed when I booked. The elevator wasn't available, so I had to take the stairs to the third floor. In the room, there was no bathroom light, dust had settled everywhere, and under the bed was filthy, as if the cleaners had forgotten it. The hotel is extremely dirty and badly managed, and it seriously needs to improve its general cleanliness. The rooms were awful, and the front desk staff were indifferent and terrible. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. I could write more, but it feels like a waste of time.

Fab Hotels should do a basic check of a property before listing it. The pictures and reviews on the app and website were misleading, and the place itself looked dingy and substandard. I booked a second night but chose not to check in for it after what happened. Booking through FAB Hotels was a big mistake, and I hope someone takes action. The first room had cockroaches crawling across the floor, so I asked to move. The next room was worse. It had no toiletries, and I had to ask for soap and a towel. The mattress was old and caved in as soon as I sat down. There were tobacco spit stains and cobwebs in the corners, the toilet was dirty with stains all over, and the shower was broken. The TV remote was broken and had no batteries. Trying to turn on the TV manually didn't work either. I'd paid for breakfast, but when I asked in the morning, they said the kitchen was closed and they didn't serve breakfast.

Even with all these problems, I want to mention Ritesh and Mohit from customer service. They really tried to help as much as they could. The area managers weren't very helpful, though. When I escalated the issue, I was refused a move to a better hotel because I wasn't in the price segment for the good hotels. They promised a refund for the unused nights, but that doesn't make up for what happened. The room was dirty and smelled bad even while I was checked in. There were cockroaches all over, including one crawling on my bed at night. There was no pest control. I killed close to four or five roaches myself. The bed and bathroom linen were stained and in poor condition, and the pillow given to me on my first day had a blood stain. The bathroom floor and toilet were unclean, and the fixtures either leaked or had weak pressure. When I asked to have the room cleaned, staff replied rudely and refused, saying no housekeeping staff were available in the evening. Check-in was far from smooth. I was initially denied a room and asked to pay more because the credits shown as paid weren't reflected in their system. The hotel was unhygienic overall. They didn't explain where breakfast was, so I couldn't have any, and the elevator was often closed for service in the evening.

There isn't even a signboard outside the hotel, and the image on maps is edited. The manager is shown in the photo trying to fix the flush. Breakfast was only poha, with no drinking water available. I tried calling the so-called 24x7 customer care about a hundred times and got no support. Their non-refundable booking policy feels like their own way of looting customers. The rooms are filthy and unhygienic, with spit marks and cobwebs. The bathrooms are just as bad: the flush and shower don't work, the bucket has algae on it, and the floor has heavy black marks. There are more problems I could list. Booking a room here would mean putting yourself through harassment. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it. Don't waste your money or time with FAB hotels.
