RA Residence Baner, Pune by Agarwal Group of Hotels

I paid Rs 3400 a day for seven days after booking a week ahead, but at the front desk I saw the price was 1600. For a small room worth around 1200, that felt like users were being duped. I asked to change my dates because the room was claustrophobic, barely had walking space, and had no desk or anything, but the hotel refused. So I’m paying 26000 when I could have got it for 12000 after booking in advance. Someone from the shitty management, please explain this! Shout out to Agoda for suggesting such a horrendous property.

I’ve stayed here many times, and the orange cat that wanders around the hotel is very friendly. She sometimes comes to the door, meows, tries to get into rooms, and may play with you if you’re lucky. Bring catnip or treats for her. The staff and rooms are great too.

Shankar, Shyam, Ganesh, and Gopal from housekeeping kept the room spotless and responded quickly whenever I needed something. At the front desk, Vedant, Yash, and Hariom were warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout. From check-in to check-out, the service was top-notch, and their friendly, professional manner made me feel at home. It’s rare to find a team this attentive. Kudos to management for hiring such wonderful people. I’ll recommend the hotel to friends and family, and hope to come back.

The rooms were a little small, but the design made them feel cozy, homely, and comfortable. The waiting area was lovely too, with swings, plants, and books. They wouldn’t let us check in early as we’d requested, though we still had a peaceful place to wait. Two street cats, stripes and cotton, hang around there and sometimes play if they’re in the mood. All in all, it was a very nice weekend getaway.
