Royal Orchid Golden Suites Pune

I spent 15 days in a Deluxe Room with breakfast and dinner included, and it really felt like home. The room was huge and comfortable, and the food stayed fresh and delicious throughout. Staff were so attentive that I rarely had to call, and when I did, they responded right away. The location is great, within walking distance of Kalyani Nagar and Cerebrum IT Park, which makes it handy for IT professionals. It felt luxurious but the rates were reasonable, so good value too. I have no complaints and would love to return. One of my best hotel stays.

Our stays at Royal Orchid Golden Suites have come and gone over more than three years, and it has become our one stop shop whenever we're back in Pune. We feel at home there, and even though we have family and friends in the city, we try to stay here for at least a few days. During our long stay this time, Mr Ajeet the Manager was always available by phone for bookings and made us comfortable. He even found a room at short notice for my brother, who is a heart patient, and included complimentary breakfast for them. He was always smiling and very courteous. Prashant the front desk manager was courteous too and directed the staff efficiently. The restaurant team always greeted us warmly, and Hari the Concierge, who handled our bags, welcomed us back with such excitement, like we were home. The rooms were average and a bit dated, and the food was OK. The location is a big plus if you work at Cerebrum IT park. I stayed the first week of Nov. Checkout took longer than it should because their card machine wasn't working, and I had a meeting to get to. The receptionist asked about minibar use, and I said it was from two days earlier. I checked out, paid, and left my luggage with them. Later I saw they had billed me again for the minibar on checkout day, when there'd been no consumption. Maybe she misunderstood me at billing. When I pointed it out, she first brushed me off, saying it would take a long time. I suggested they handle it offline, and the supervisor came over. They agreed to process it within an hour and send the corrected invoice on WhatsApp. Nothing has happened to date, and nobody answers when I call.

We had kids with us, and the whole staff was considerate and accommodating with every request. Their hospitality went well beyond what I expected. This was easily one of the best hotels I've stayed in, and it's worth it. I'd recommend it to anyone.
