It had a homely feel, and I found the stay peaceful and safe. The staff were very helpful.

The room was clean, and the staff communicated well and were supportive. I’d like to come back.

There are charges for a lot of things, even water and dental kits, so check what’s included before booking. It may be better to bring your own essentials, since basics might not be provided or could be overpriced. The washroom was poorly kept, and it looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned properly after the previous guest. Room service was disappointing, with little attention to basic hygiene and cleanliness. The main road also has no clear signs for the property, which made finding it on Google Maps confusing. I also saw an unprofessional exchange at reception, where a guest was addressed rudely in the local language with “Kya baccho jaisa kar rahe ho.” That didn’t feel client-friendly. The experience was disappointing for hygiene, service, professionalism and accessibility.

I complained to the staff, but they didn’t seem to care. Even after paying for a room, you’re left dealing with unnecessary questions and feeling embarrassed in front of your friends or family. Security asked me whether I’d booked a room, what the room number was, how many people were staying, and whose name the booking was under. It made me feel as if they thought I was going to break a lock and enter a hotel room 🥲.
