The rooms were in terrible condition, zero rating. Staff communication was very bad, and I was really disappointed. After a journey of about 12 hours, I checked in at 2 am and asked for a two-hour grace period until 10 am instead of 8 am. The staff didn't cooperate.

I didn't stay here, but during my 4 day visit in Puri I ate at the basement restaurant almost daily. The food is super delicious and cheaper than most hotels. Definitely try the veg biryani, it's damn good. Five stars for the restaurant.

The service was pathetic, careless and unprofessional, and the staff were super rude. There was no drinking water and no food. It drove me crazy. Don't stay here, you'll regret it forever.

They confirmed parking and the room price over WhatsApp before my visit, but when I arrived they said parking wasn't available and raised the price without explaining why. That kind of last-minute change and dishonesty is unacceptable. There was no basic amenity like Wi-Fi either. The rooms at Hotel Vishal Plaza were poorly maintained, unclean, and had stained bedsheets and a musty smell. The bathroom was just okay, and the staff were unsupportive and unprofessional. Hygiene, service, and trustworthiness were all extremely poor. I'd strongly advise others to visit first and only then book.

The temple isn't far away, and the beach is just 5 minutes from the hotel. It's on the main road. We had a fantastic stay and the food was fantastic too. All in all, a good experience.
