Krishna Palace

There was plenty of space in the rooms and for parking, and the food was delicious, mild on spices, and tasted homemade. But the property is poorly maintained and cleanliness falls well short. We got just one towel for the room regardless of how many people were staying, and the bedsheet was changed only after two days, even with kids in the room.

The service, including cleaning, was good, and every room seems to have at least an AC. The outside looks nice, though the room layout is oddly stepped, and the place needs maintenance. The beach is about 600 meters away. In Puri, don't expect too much, but the rates still seem high for the service and location. It's neither great nor terrible.

There isn't a restaurant, but the rooms are neat and hygienic, with plenty of space and facilities to cook your own food. The reception staff were polite, knowledgeable, and responsive, and helped arrange an auto or car for sightseeing. The hotel is about 2 km from the beach.

We barely got through the night in a dusty, smelly room with a foul bathroom and cigarette ash inside. At first they said our rooms weren't booked and unavailable, then offered a dormitory for 1500 for five hours. As soon as the sun came up, we left at 6 sharp. A terrible experience.
