It’s an okay place to stay, and Niladri Beach is only a two-minute walk away. The bathroom fittings are below average, the swimming pool needs regular cleaning, and food choices are limited.

Abhishekjee at reception was especially welcoming and cooperative, and the staff overall were polite and helpful. The indoor pool was clean and well maintained. Everything felt comfortable and well managed, and I had a really good stay.

The lake or pond behind the hotel smells terrible, and the odor gets inside all day. Rooms are spacious but a little old, with old-style spacious bathrooms, quite old towels, and no kits provided. Nothing feels extravagant. The hotel’s restaurant, World Cup 83, is dedicated to the players who brought the 1983 one day international world cup. I liked the starters, including Paneer Cahtpata, chilli, chicken startes, Crispy corn, and masalapapad, but didn’t like the main course at all: Naan, Dal khichdi, Anda biryani, and Paneer Do Pyaza.

The staff were supportive, polite, and well cultured, which helped make our family stay with kids comfortable and pleasant. Room quality was decent for the price, and the best part was the location, just a short walk from Niladri Beach. The restaurant has limited functionality, and other eateries are a bit farther away.

For the price of a deluxe room, I got something that felt like a roadside room, nowhere near average. The bed was uncomfortable, the desk was clumsy, and one of the room geysers didn't work. The bathroom door and its key were faulty, and the key wouldn't turn on the lights. The charging cables barely worked, and the main door wouldn't lock by itself, so we had to use the key.
