The owner was a really nice, well-mannered man. The rooms were budget-friendly, clean, well maintained, and had all the proper amenities, though the geyser wasn't working. The hotel is very close to Jagannath Temple, which was convenient. Parking was a problem: there's no space for a four-wheeler and no dedicated parking arrangement for two-wheelers either. Apart from that, everything was good.

There was no parking space, and I felt unsafe for women here. When I arrived, the owner and manager misbehaved with me and demanded extra money for my kids on top of the OYO Money. I refused, and they responded with vulgar language and rough comments. They had no manners at all, and then asked me to leave the hotel around 11pm at night. Please avoid staying here.

Getting transport from the hotel was difficult, and the location wasn't good for elderly people. Staff gave us misleading information about auto service and hotel pick-up options, which left us very disappointed. The room was clean and near n, and otherwise okay, but the water heater didn't work. Nobody addressed it after we reported the issue.

It's a basic, quiet place, though sometimes hard to find on Google Maps. The lane is by Gambhira mandir, about 500 mts from the South gate of Shree Jagannath mandir. Our room was okay and quite large, with a nice bed, enough cupboards, and WiFi. The bathroom was on the small side but acceptable. We couldn't work out how to get hot water through the shower head, although the hot water geiser itself was nice. There were only 2-3 guys looking after guests, almost 24 hours a day. It's under Oyo now. The tariff was pretty hefty during Rathyatra time, but decent at other times.

Wouldn't recommend this place. There was no parking, the washroom door didn't work, and the pillow cover was dirty and damaged.
