The beachside setting is peaceful, and the resort has a calm, family-friendly feel. It’s a luxurious place with rooms and suites inspired by Kalinga architecture and Odia artistry, many with Bay of Bengal views and spacious balconies. Facilities include J Wellness Circle spa, an outdoor pool, a fitness centre and large lawns for events. Vista and Jaatra serve regional and international dishes with ocean views. Guests often praise the attentive staff and service, though some mention room service and food variety could be better, and local conditions can make beach access less convenient. It’s a comfortable coastal option for a getaway in Puri.

The whole property is lovely to look at, with pleasing colors and design, and it’s a great spot for photos. I’ve stayed at a lot of Taj hotels, but this one really won me over. Staff were friendly, hospitality was excellent, and breakfast had plenty of variety. The gym is compact, modern and well cared for, better than I expected. The pool was clean and fresh, without a strong chlorine smell or irritation to my eyes. I also discovered there’s a steam and sauna room near the pool, and the pool staff were kind and supportive. I’d happily come back someday.

The beach was clean and well kept, and we appreciated the lifeguards and attentive beach staff while spending time there as a family. Breakfast was another highlight, with fresh food and a wide range of choices for different tastes. At Vista Restaurant, dinner was excellent, and Rajesh looked after us warmly and thoughtfully. We also enjoyed the evening high tea with classical Sangeet, followed by the soulful Samundra Aarti, a memorable reflection of Puri’s spiritual and cultural side. We stayed four days at Taj Puri Resort & Spa during our visit, and the staff professionalism, food, cultural experiences and serene atmosphere made it a special family trip. Thank you to the team. We’d recommend the resort and hope to return.

We came in December with our 15-month-old daughter and two other families with young children. The staff were attentive from the start, taking thoughtful care of the little ones and making it easy for us to relax. Chef Manoj deserves special thanks for his lovely food and for carefully meeting our baby’s dietary needs. Pradyuman, Uday, Rajesh, Sameer, Nikita, Nisha, Gowtham, Bapan, and Prasanta were all warm and professional, and their service made the stay feel luxurious. The property was pristine and elegant, and our holiday was indulgent and memorable. We left with lovely family memories and would like to return.
