I looked at 5-6 places since I was staying for three weeks, and friendly Atithi Guest House seemed the best value. I paid 600 ₹ a night, though it would probably cost a little more for just a few nights. The room was light and airy, with tiled floors, a very comfortable mattress, a quiet fan, and good wifi. There wasn’t much furniture or shelf space. Showers were often only tepid, but that was fine in February/March. It could be an issue in December/January, when Pushkar can get quite cold. I had a great stay.

A highlight was the short hike to the nearby temple for sunset, with a beautiful view. Atithi Guest House is quiet and peaceful, away from the busy areas, but most places in Pushkar are easy to reach. The rooms are clean and well kept, and the caring, friendly host family made us feel welcome and relaxed. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the place to anyone visiting Pushkar.

I booked one night and stayed for 19, it started to feel like home. Pappu, Chinku, and Nikki are wonderful, and their granddaughter is adorable. The place is a pleasant walk from the hustle and bustle, so it feels calm and relaxed. My room was clean and comfortable, and the rooftop was my favorite, with a great view for sunsets, working, or doing yoga.

The family running this place is lovely, and I liked the quiet, nice-looking room so much I definitely would have stayed longer if I could. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the main bazaar, but away from the noise and bustle. Gayatri temple is about a 20-minute walk, with a beautiful, quiet view of Pushkar at sunrise. Recommended!

Man, Papoo, chinco and nikki are the best! Their stories and super relaxed vibe made them feel like true legends. I stayed about a week, and they made my time in pushkar so much better. At the end of the day, walking back to my room felt like coming home. Papoo, nikki, chinco, you guys are amazing. Missing you! Pushkar is in my heart, and you’re part of my pushkat.
