Brahma Horizon Hotel & Spa – Pushkar

The hotel is cute and really nice. For space, cleanliness, and comfort, I think it’s the best option. As an international traveler, though, I found the food disappointing. There wasn’t much variety, and because of religious restrictions they don’t even serve eggs at breakfast. There weren’t many choices for someone who isn’t a big fan of Indian food. I also had a problem with one of the evening receptionists. An Indian friend who visits me each year when I stay here was refused entry because he looked local. The day before, a friend from Israel had been allowed in without any trouble. It seemed like racism between Indian people to me. I was really angry, and the receptionist was very rude in how he answered. I ended up having to go out of the hotel to walk with my friend because he couldn’t come in. This was very disappointing, the first time in five years I’d had anything like this happen.

The restaurant service was great, and both the food and drinks were very good. The hotel is a little outside town, which made the neighbourhood quiet. Rooms are spacious, clean, and heated for the cold winter months. Of the hotels in this price range where I’ve stayed in India, this has been the best so far.

The standout for me was the food, especially the small plates restaurants, which felt really unique in Rajastshan. At Hotel Brahma Horizon, the staff were warm and attentive, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well kept. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to travellers. One of my best hotel experiences.

Dinner at the hotel was excellent, and the lobby and pool were lovely places to relax. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff made us feel welcome and were incredibly helpful, while the modern rooms were spacious and beautifully designed.
