The sunrise trip up the mountain to Savitri Mata Temple with Dharma was one of my favorite parts of Pushkar. He was a wonderful host and kept checking that everything was going smoothly. Kothi Pushkar was also the best hotel of my India trip. The rooms are modest but modern, very clean, and have the necessary amenities. Its lovely interior courtyard and restaurant/café make for a quiet break from the city. The restaurant food was excellent and reasonably priced, and the breakfast was the best we had in India for quality, quantity, variety, and freshness.

Dharma made us feel welcome from the start. He was warm, genuine, and looked after us so well, especially on the two sunrise walks we took with him to Shri Sivitri Temple. Those walks were the highlight of our time in Pushkar. The hotel is also in a great spot, a minute from Brahma temple and the market. We stayed in a clean, well-equipped garden-view room at the back, with easy hot water and access to the garden for a quiet break from the busy streets. Breakfast was included, filling and tasty, with Indian and Western choices. The art cafe is open all day and serves delicious food. The room was affordable for the level of service, and we thought it was great value. I'd highly recommend staying here in Pushkar.

The best part of our stay was the sunrise walk with Dharmendra Singh. He guided us through Pushkar as the day began, with monkeys around and golden light everywhere. It was the highlight of our India trip. From our arrival, Dharmendra Singh was attentive, generous, and kind, and made us feel valued and at home. Kothi is a beautiful, peaceful place with lush gardens and a lovely breakfast restaurant. It's close enough to walk everywhere while still feeling serene. The whole team deserves our thanks. We won't forget the experience and would recommend staying here.

The location is hard to beat, right by the Brahma Temple and in the market, with everything easy to get to. I stayed four nights in late November and early December 2025, and would happily return. Dharma was lovely, always greeting people and helping out. You could tell he wanted guests to feel comfortable, and his invitation to join a sunrise walk up the nearby mountain was a thoughtful touch. I went one morning and really enjoyed it. My room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and casting to the TV made evenings easy. The AC and fan worked as needed. Hot water didn't stay hot for long, but that was much like showers elsewhere in India and didn't get in the way. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable: fruit, toast, masala chai, and either a banana pancake or paratha. I always chose the paratha.

Dharmendra made us feel at home right away. He remembered our names, took us on a sunrise trek to Savitri Temple, and seemed to anticipate what we needed. He's the most attentive host I've met in all my travels, and I hope the owners know how special he is. The hotel is beautiful and historic, clean and quiet, yet right beside the world-famous Brahma Temple. We chose it for the parking, then ended up loving our stay. Breakfast was fine, just not my favorite. I don't really want a western breakfast in India, and the paratha and poha felt a bit heavy for me. Maybe I'm a South Indian girl at heart, lol. I'd recommend the place, especially for Dharmendra's hospitality.
