Hotel Pushkar Golden Haveli 500 Mtrs from Pushkar Lake

We stayed three nights with our family and felt very comfortable. Everything was good, and we’re grateful for the lovely stay at your hostel. Budget travellers looking for a place to stay are very welcome here, and I recommend it.

The rooms were decent, but the staff’s behaviour was awful. The receptionist actually told us, “you guys don't deserve to stay in these rooms.” We’d booked through MMT for 5 hours at 600 rs, before a later booking at another hotel. When we arrived, after booking for 6 Hours, they moved us to this hotel. I politely asked if anything was wrong and why he was acting that way, but he just told us to sign the register and go to our rooms. It was early morning and tourists were crowding in, so we had to put up with his disrespectful attitude.

The brothers who own the Haveli designed and built it, and it’s beautiful. Our room was spacious and fabulously decorated, with a thick, comfortable mattress and the best pillows I’ve ever slept on. The friendly staff often spent evenings on the first floor veranda, chatting with guests about the area and its history. They’re all very knowledgeable. You really feel like part of the family, and after staying here you won’t want to stay anywhere else.

Hosted by Janick & Michel, a wonderful french couple, Golden Haveli was such a warm and welcoming property. The rooms were great, and the peaceful rural setting was still close to the Pushkar market. We had an amazing stay and will definitely come back.
