Hotel Tulsi Palace

The owner was kind and helped us with questions and laundry. The laundry cost more than at other places we visited in India. We stayed three nights and enjoyed the spacious room, comfortable bed, and good shower. Its window looked into the courtyard, so it didn’t get direct daylight, though there was still enough light inside. We noticed some other rooms have outside-facing windows, so I guess we were a little unlucky. The hotel is well located near the main road and ghats, with a nice dosa place just a few steps away that we’d recommend. We’d be happy to stay here again :)

That shared living-room-like space was lovely, whether you wanted to relax, get some work done, or meet other travelers. I came alone and felt safe and at home, and the owners were so kind and helpful without any commercial attitude. The owner uncle even took me to the bus stop early in the morning, patiently explaining things and helping me find the right bus. He also pointed me toward authentic local street food instead of pushing his own café. Pushkar is beautiful, and staying at Tulsi Hotel made the trip even better. A real gem for an affordable, homely stay, absolutely recommend it. 20/10 :)

The hosts were lovely and took care of us, making sure we had extra blankets and stayed warm. They helped with anything we needed while we were there. We’d definitely recommend staying here when visiting Pushkar.

The family were incredibly generous and patient, answering all my questions and arranging a taxi to Jaipur. They even moved me to a bigger room at no extra charge when I mentioned wanting a window that faced outside. That thoughtful upgrade made an already wonderful stay even better. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable, and their hospitality was outstanding. Highly recommend!
