Hemanth is the best hotelier I’ve met in my 40 years of traveling in India. He’s generous, empathetic, full of joie de vivre, and so communicative. The hotel is almost 70 years old and is one of Pushkar’s oldest, but it quickly feels like home. The owner is also a great cook and will make whatever you’d like, himself. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the prices are absolutely reasonable. It’s just five minutes from the market street and the lake. If you’re curious, just come by.

Aman was so lovely and accommodating, and we had wonderful conversations with him. He gave us the best recommendations for Pushkar. Our room was clean, and the food he cooked was delicious. Our stay at Hotel White House was perfect, and we’ll definitely come back!

Hemant is one of those rare people who welcomes you with open arms. He’s kind, soft-spoken, and has lots of stories to share. The hotel is close to the ghat, and the rooms are nice and clean, with perfect washrooms. The whole place has such a positive energy and amazing vibe.
