The central garden was a nice spot to unwind, though you could still hear the busy street during the day. Rooms were clean, but the toilets could use improvement. Breakfast was very good, with Muesli and pancakes as a welcome change from all the curry we’d been eating in India. During the Camel fair, this was one of the town’s cheapest hotels, so it felt worth the price for a place that wasn’t luxury. The staff were friendly, flexible, and always asking if they could do more to help. We had a great stay.

I came across Hotel Amar while wandering through the market in Pushkar, with no idea where I’d stay. I’m so glad I found it. The food was great, and the Chai was amazing. The staff were wonderful and have become friends, so I’ll be back to see them as soon as I return. The daily yoga classes on site are worth checking out too.

Hotel Amar is close to the Marwar Bus Stand and main market, with the Bramha Mandir and Old Rangji Mandir within walking distance. There are food carts and sweet shops nearby, plus a medical store and departmental store on site. The hotel can arrange a doctor on call, car rental, foreign currency exchange, laundry, and other basic services. Rooms are well maintained, and the gym is clean. The atmosphere is homely, the food and service are great, and the staff are responsive and supportive. Freshly cooked Marwadi, North Indian, and South Indian meals make a stay here easy. It’s run by the Bramhin Family, who are natives of Pushkar, and is a good option if you want clean accommodation at reasonable rates.

A horrifying stay. There was no electricity backup, room service, or kitchen, and the place was dirty. The staff had no manners and acted like “gunda.” When we complained, they threatened us. Never stay at this hotel.

For a budget place in the city, this seems like one of the best. The lawn is really cool, with nice lighting and fairy lights. The reception area was the most interesting part, though 😅
