We had porter service to take our luggage up to the rooms, but ended up having to carry it out ourselves. The staff were welcoming when we arrived and rude when we left. Water bottles were priced 50% above MRP, and they hadn't told us in advance. We refused to pay. The hotel is just outside the main market, so getting to the market and Ghats is convenient.
The rooms are clean and fairly new, but upkeep or maintenance seems to be an issue, or perhaps some work is unfinished. Some rooms have lizards, and they don't seem inclined to change used linens. There's no dedicated parking, and the price feels high for the services. It's a good property in naive hands, like many other hotels in Pushkar.
The room and location were the only good parts. There were no OYO basic amenities in the room before check-in and no tea facilities. Staff were slow and arrogant, and seemed to want money before giving us a good stay. The receptionist was especially arrogant. They don't have spare room keys, and when we accidentally forgot to return ours, they called us again and again. We were sorry about forgetting it, but that attitude wasn't okay. They should take care of the other essentials too.
The rooms were very clean and felt like a four star hotel. The location was good, and for me hospitality matters most. RS was great in behaviour. Thankyou RS stays. Lots of love 🙏🏻
