Bad hospitality and a really bad experience. The non-veg food was pathetic, and the chicken seemed frozen. A colleague had referred me, so I was surprised when I saw it. I told the girl serving us the food wasn’t good and the chicken seemed frozen. She said they’d take care next time. Later, when I went to pay, they brought sweets, apparently to calm us down. We said we didn’t want them and felt they’d only been offered to ease our annoyance. When I asked for a corporate discount, she said they don’t give one. If you go with friends or family, order one main course first to judge the quality. At these prices, you can visit accord and shrestha hotel instead.

When I stayed, the hotel was being renovated, so there were a few maintenance issues, but it was okay. They provided good complimentary pick-up and drop-off between the railway station and hotel, as well as breakfast. The staff were decent, helpful, and polite. Booking here was good value for money.

I’d stayed here before and it was good, but the service is very poor now. Room No. 502 was very old and had damaged tiles, windows, and bathroom door. The AC was damaged, and the room ceiling was in bad shape. The washroom door wouldn’t even close. I shouted to get reception’s attention; they sent a carpenter, but he didn’t fix it, and they refused to move me to another room. Staff response was zero, and they were nonsense types of staff.

The facilities are good, the property is clean and well kept, and the rooms are comfortable and meet basic expectations. It has a pleasant atmosphere and could be a good choice for visitors to the city. Service is where it falls short. Staff are generally polite, but requests took longer than expected, and there wasn’t much initiative or efficiency.
