OYO 16919 Hotel Prerna

The manager's behavior was very bad and felt unsafe, and they force customers. The staff made the place uncomfortable, and there isn't even a lift. They don't have any parking either. The manager controls when the ACs are operated, and the TV wasn't working.

The rooms were filthy, with hair and dust in the linen and a cockroach in the bathroom. They look dressed up to seem upscale, but the place felt completely unhygienic. The hotel is near Jaistambh chowk (Gol Bazar) in a prime part of Raipur, yet its building sits on a dirty street with a bad view. I didn't even get a bathing kit or towel, and room service was extremely slow and unhelpful. Staff gave stupid responses. They charged ₹30 for a mineral water bottle marked ₹20, and this place isn't worth even ₹500. I had a horrible stay, and safety during an emergency is a major concern. The relevant authorities should shut it down and ban it.

For the low price, it was decent, though there's room to improve. We booked through OYO with breakfast included, but breakfast wasn't provided, and there is no parking. The bathroom smelled of pee, and the hand washer was still dirty from the previous guests. There were mosquitoes throughout the hotel, although they did provide repellent. We were two guests but got only one set of towels, shampoo, and soap. They brought another kit when we asked.

The staff were helpful and cooperative, but the rooms are cramped, poorly maintained, and had dirty sheets on the bed and blanket. There wasn't a mirror in the room either. I'd recommend it for couples looking for a hassle-free stay, but it isn't good enough for a family.
