Hotel Brindavan Elite Rameswaram

We had a ground-floor room because the upper floors were full. Those floors have sea-view rooms. Continuous rain and the weather left a slight smell in our room, but it was manageable. Otherwise, everything was very good: friendly, polite staff and good service. The room was spacious and maintained well, with a large cot and basic amenities. The bathroom was clean, and hot water was available. The in-house restaurant served good vegetarian food at decent prices. The East Tower of the temple and Agni Theertham beach are both within walking distance, and autos are easy to find for getting around. A pleasant stay for temple and beach access.

Brindavan Elite was a good stay, with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. It's handy if you're short on time for a temple visit, need warm water and towels (carry your own), and want to be close to the temple. With our grandparents, we needed food without onion and garlic, and Gujrati Bhognalaya was great for that. I highly recommend it for home-style meals. One thing we didn't know was that all the other food items have onion and garlic. Evening meal time was 7-8 pm. Later than that was considered late, and places offered leftovers.

The staff were friendly and very supportive. One member guided us through the whole temple process and stayed with us until we exited. For meals, we had to go to their other hotel across from this one, though they can also serve food in the room. The food was good and affordable. Our room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. Toiletries, a clean kettle, and tea and coffee bags were provided. The main draw is how close the hotel is to the temple's east tower and Agni tirtheem, and autos are easy to get at any time. From the sea-view side, coconut trees blocked a clear look at the sea, but the natural view was still worth it. Overall, good service!

This relatively new property has spacious, well-kept rooms and hot water around the clock. It's a short walk to the main temple, though the neighborhood is crowded and not as green as the hotel's pictures suggest. There are few good places to eat besides the hotel's own restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was elaborate and tasty. If your visit is entirely spiritual, it's an excellent place to stay.
