Parijat Retreat

The food took far too long even though there were very few guests. We got the usual explanations, that it was being made fresh, old food wasn’t served, or staff had gone out, but the food itself was very average. There are only a few caretakers, though they can cook to order. The property is well maintained and has all the facilities, with a Himalayan view in clear weather. It’s secluded and centrally located, but getting there means going downhill on a badly built, steep road, so drivers should be careful. Older people also have to manage some stairs to reach the property, which can be difficult. It could be a good place if run properly. As it is, it’s an average place for a family visit.

The quiet surroundings and Ranikhet’s natural beauty made for a really relaxing break from city life. The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor, with a homely feel. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and well kept, with lovely views that made mornings special. The staff were warm, courteous, and ready to help throughout, so we felt comfortable and looked after. We had a wonderful stay at Prajit Resort, and it exceeded what we expected. With the mountain views, greenery, comfort, and hospitality, it’s a great choice for a peaceful hill-station getaway. I’d recommend it to families, couples, or anyone looking for a calm stay.

The desserts were a standout, especially the gulab jamun, so ask for those. We arrived from Nainital after a long trip and were welcomed with so much warmth and joy. They made sure we had warm, fresh homemade food each time. The property is calm and soothing, with good views. Service was prompt, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Thanks to Mr. Mohan Ghariyal ji and his team for a lovely stay.

I left the resort today. It’s a peaceful place, with great weather and a beautiful setting, surrounded by hills. The food is organic and the service is really good.
