Hotel Pal Residency

I checked out on 31 July and had to keep chasing the hotel for a proper GST bill. They finally sent it on 5 August, and the front office or staff never answer when you call to follow up. They take the full amount in advance, including GST, but don't send the bill unless you keep asking. I also waited 35 minutes just for a cup of tea. If you're travelling for business or work, I wouldn't consider this hotel.

We paid Rs500 per plate, but the food was very poor. They didn't serve puri or kachori, and so much food ran out that half the guests left without eating. The plate felt worth hardly 100/- compared with other places. They also refused to serve breakfast because it wasn't ready. The hall cleaning and decoration only started at 11am, and the decoration was bad, using material from a previous party. I planned my brother's engagement here, and their negligence turned it into a very embarrassing event for us.

The room interior was the only good part. There were lots of mosquitoes, the service was bad, and the staff were completely unprofessional. Food quality was very low too. They took the full payment in advance at check-in, then didn't give me a bill after checkout, saying they would send it by mail.

The staff's manners and way of speaking were rude and poor, and they didn't know how to welcome guests. I had a bad experience here with my doctors couligue. I suggest pal regency hounour change the staff, especially the 2nd floor reception manager. Thanks.
