I’m updating this review after three years, and the hotel’s standard has fallen drastically. The rooms and bedsheets were dirty, the walls were damp, and the washrooms were unhygienic. We waited an hour for food, then they refused to make most of what we ordered all at once. On top of that, the washbasin was broken. In my opinion, even a dharamshala is cleaner than these rooms. Please don’t stay at this hotel.

It was easy to walk to Triveni Ghat, and Aastha Path was handy for a stroll at any time. The city area wasn’t what we expected, but we preferred it to the busy crowds near the Ghats. The staff were helpful and friendly, and let delivery people bring food right to our door. The room was average, with little space, and smelled when we got back from outings. It also didn’t look like the photos online. The lift wasn’t working, though we were on the second floor so it didn’t matter much. The hotel is at one end of Rishikesh, a bit far from most attractions, so you’ll need a rickshaw for Ram Jhula and nearby places. An average experience.

The view alone makes this place worth visiting. Breakfast and dinner were better than at any hotel I’ve stayed at in rishikesh. We had a very good stay, with fast service, good facilities, and a clean, comfortable environment. The room and lobby were nicely decorated and well maintained, and the staff were very good.
