The staff were helpful, though I did have questions about their hygiene standards. The food was average at best, but the tea was nice. I’d call it a three-star stay. More comfortable rooms and a wider food choice would have improved it. This place could work if you want to get away from it all, but it’s literally in the middle of nowhere. There’s almost no mobile network and no broadband. There isn’t even a nearby shop or market, so the tariff includes all three meals. The rooms are very basic, with no televisions in the brick rooms. I couldn’t spot a satellite dish anywhere, though I can’t speak for the other rooms. There are two routes to get there, a longer one and a shorter one. We took the shorter route and ran into some challenges, including long stretches of dried riverbed and other tough terrain. The washrooms have geysers but no shower, so bathing means using a bucket and mug.

My experience at Junglee resort was very bad. The owner, Vivek Awasthi, was arrogant and had no time to listen to customers. He ignores feedback from viewers. It felt very unsafe in the core jungle area, without any electric fencing, and the service was not proper. Shameless man.

The location and layout deserve five stars. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil, surrounded by raw nature. This place stays with your mind and soul even after you leave. Thanks to Mr Awasthiji, the owner, for being such a perfect host in this lovely oasis.

For a nearby getaway, this place is just beautiful and serene. The cottages are comfortable, and the staff will go out of their way to help with anything. I’d love to keep coming back again and again.
