When you're in Roorkee, give it a try. Room rates are very reasonable for such a prime location, and the food is some of the best vegetarian food in town. I recommend the South Indian dishes and sandwiches. The people with me were praising the main course too.

The food is nice, but the service isn't. There's no air conditioning, so you may want to avoid coming here in summer.

The ground-floor restaurant is good. The hotel rooms are okay, and there are four different price ranges.

The food quality has been declining over the last 2 years. The tables and curtains look as if they haven't been washed or cleaned since 1947.

The prices are decent and the food is quite good, but service is very slow and below par.
