Hotel Anurag

Foodies looking for lots of starter choices should check this place out. It’s a fully vegetarian restaurant with great quality and so many menu options. Service was quick, and the staff were very supportive.

We’re in town for a stressful event, so coming back to this room was a real comfort. The hotel is clean and has plenty of things that make it feel homey, and all the staff behaved very well. Thank you 👍

I’d skip this place if you have another option. It’s near Rourkela station, down a narrow lane, and might suit a business traveler on a tight budget who needs to be close by. The bed and linens were clean and comfortable, and there’s a small ground-floor restaurant, Gokul, where you can order a decent breakfast. The hotel itself is poorly maintained. The bathroom was clean but badly needed repairs and an upgrade, with cracks, stains, and holes in the walls there and in parts of the room. The night-shift check-in clerk was rude when my train was delayed, even though I’d informed the hotel. I was exhausted after a long day of travel and work, so I said nothing and went to bed. I had other options, but didn’t take them.

At Hotel Anurag, the breakfast buffet stood out, with a wide selection of tasty food. My room was spacious and very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a terrific stay, and I highly recommend the hotel.
