Hotel Good Times

The room was dirty and smelled of smoke, and the AC didn't work. The price was high, and the staff were unhelpful and bad.

We were three women waiting for a train and expected we'd have to go hungry, but we felt safe and welcome eating here. There weren't many good food options nearby, so we had lunch at the restaurant. At 3 pm it was a little dark, though we found a spot by the window. The manager was very helpful and got our meals to us on time. The food was decent, with North Indian dishes like parathas and paneer, plus omelette. They were also one of the few places that actually honored our request for no chilies. I haven't stayed at the hotel, but it seems like the best option within walking distance of the railway station.

After driving 50 km to book a room, I was told at reception there were none. I booked one on the OYO website right there, and suddenly a room was available. Customer service was really poor. I had to negotiate to get my change back then instead of the next morning, and the cards weren't working. The AC worked whenever it pleased, and the sheets had dirty shoe marks. They wanted me to move my car from in front of the hotel to some dark spot for reasons I don't know, and I didn't do it. It's a poor place, far below usual OYO standards. Only take it if you have no other choice.

I booked and paid through OYO after the booking was confirmed, but when I arrived at 9:15 pm yesterday, the counter staff said there were no rooms. The manager wouldn't even speak to us. I contacted OYO, and they moved my booking to another hotel 3 km away. There I found out this hotel had given all its rooms to someone paying more. The staff were very hot-tempered. I had a very bad experience on 11.06.19. Please don't book here online.
