Hotel Uttam Heritage

It’s a budget friendly hotel, but some basics are missing. The bedsheet wasn’t up to standard, there were no bathroom slippers, and the room rent didn’t include a water bottle.

I had to keep the window open just to breathe. The room at Uttam heritage Hotel smelled foul and musty, like rotten eggs mixed with mold, as soon as I walked in. Air freshener couldn’t cover it. Water was leaking in several places, dripping from the bathroom ceiling, soaking the carpet, and pooling under the bed. Management just shrugged and said it happens sometimes. The service was just as bad: a rude front desk guy ignored my complaints, housekeeping was lazy and unresponsive, and one staff member snapped when I asked for clean towels. No customer service or apologies. It was a nightmare from start to finish. Never again, save your money and stay somewhere decent.

The staff were good, but this didn’t feel like a place to rest. It was too noisy and pricey, and the rooms were dimly lit and old.

Room service was very good, and the rooms were clean. 😊
