Hotel Ganesh Mahal

It’s okay. There’s parking for 10 cars and an underground bar. Food can be supplied to hotel room occupants.

I won’t book this hotel again. I was visiting Salem for the first time and booked because someone close to me said they usually stayed here and it was good. Instead, it was a really bad experience, especially with my 3-year-old toddler and 3-month-old baby. There were too few plug points, the fan switch didn’t work, and neither did the bathroom flush. Hot water was supposed to be available from 6 to 10 in the morning, but at 6:30 it still hadn’t come. The room phone didn’t work either, so I couldn’t get through to the manager to complain. They charge 2000 for this room, then say it’s 2500 if you ask for an extra bed or bedsheet. It’s not worth it at all. Don’t book here if you have kids.

I stayed at ganesh mahal with my kids for a week and felt very safe. We had a very good experience.

A good, economical hotel that’s been around for more than 25 years.
