Sapphero Jungle Vista Resort - Sasan Gir

We came with family, and it seems like a good place for larger groups too. Kids have a small, pretty garden to play in, and there’s a swimming pool. The food was excellent, and the friendly, welcoming staff made the service stand out. Jungle Vista Resort sits a little off the main road, which makes it peaceful and quiet. It felt like good value for money, and I’d recommend it.

The animals roaming freely around the property were fun for kids: ducks, rabbits, parakeets, and hens. The swimming pool was big and best in class, with overhead rain showers, and it was fun for kids and adults like me. I ate there four times, and each meal was freshly prepared and tasted amazing. The manager, property caretaker, and staff were all great and always ready to help. I stayed in one of the newly built suite rooms and had an amazing time. Mornings in the garden by the room were slow and quiet, with no noise pollution since it’s at least 5-10 minutes from major roads. It’s the kind of place where you can stay in and spend time with yourself and your family. Must visit. I’d definitely come back with more time to enjoy the property and peace. 😇

The approach takes some planning. From the main Sasan road, it’s about 4.5 km toward Village Haripur, then another 2 km through the village’s agricultural fields. That last part can feel scary, especially if it’s your first visit. Still, 999 out of 1000 times you’re unlikely to encounter wildlife on the road. I’d strongly suggest arriving by around 9-10 PM at the latest, ideally before the village settles for the night. Once there, the quiet farm-like setting reminded me of stays at farms owned by the MP State Seed Corporation, and it’s a nice escape from noise and crowds. The resort has an in-house tribal dance show, which adds a cultural touch. The food wasn’t particularly impressive, but it was fresh and readily available on site, which is convenient given how remote the place is. The swimming pool was quite good and added to the relaxation. It was a peaceful stay with a nature-and-farm feel, and I’d suggest it to friends and family with some advance planning for arrival.

The property is lovely, well maintained, and child friendly, and the food was great. Staff were available for reasonable requests and did their jobs well. Mr. Imtiyaz, Amit, Chandan, and Sagar deserve a special mention for making the stay even better.
