Green Velvet Resort-Near Pawna Lake

The setting is peaceful and pleasant, with beautiful views of Pawna Lake, though you can’t clearly see the lake from every room. I’ve stayed here twice, and both visits left a very good impression. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and the lawn and common areas are in excellent condition too. The food was outstanding, with lots of variety. Highly recommended for a relaxing, peaceful stay.

This was a laid-back holiday, which was what we wanted. We finished our sightseeing on the first day, from Lonavala station to the resort. I went at the end of November, and the hills and other spots were a bit dry. The nights were chilly and great, though I think the monsoon months are the best time to visit Lonavala. The resort is right beside a lake, with a good view and evening sunsets. There are a few activities, which were enough for us: a small pool, table tennis, a pool table and carrom. The walking area felt a little small because the resort itself is small. It’s about 14-15 km from the railway station, or a 30-40 minute drive.

My family and I are already looking forward to returning. The restaurant has a stunning view, and the food was super delicious. The resort itself is a relaxing, mesmerizing hidden jewel near pawna lake, with beautiful scenery and plenty of facilities. What made the stay memorable, though, was the warm staff. Mr. Sujesh Shah, the owner, was hospitable, prompt, courteous, and clearly passionate about giving guests the best service.

There are lots of different spots to relax and enjoy the views, and the food and hygiene were good. It was a very pleasant stay, and I’d love to visit again. The pool felt more suited to aesthetics than function since it could have been deeper. I had no complaints about the property itself, but noisy, loud, drunk guests should be reminded of the rules so everyone can feel comfortable and safe.
