Gourissa Resort Madhai

We had fun looking at the stars after safari and high tea from the nice khatiya & Gadda’s by the river. The property is quiet, simple, clean, and very comfortable, with a pool and a location very close to Madhai entrance Core area for Satpura Tiger resort. The rooms could use small repairs, but nothing disrupted our stay. In May, the AC worked very well. Staff were courteous, polite, and ready to help. The food was good, though there was paneer vegetable every day as well as the other dishes, and they could add more options, especially for evening meals. The tea was very good. A good stay overall.

I own Krishna Travels in Bhopal and am always looking for good places to recommend to clients. Gourissa Resort has been an excellent choice for a comfortable wildlife stay in Madhai, right by Satpura National Park. Its location makes getting to the park entrance for safaris easy. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well cared for, a comfortable place to come back to after a day in the jungle. Staff are professional, courteous, and ready to help with a smile. The food is fresh, delicious, and homely, with a good range of choices. The peaceful atmosphere is ideal for nature lovers. A well-earned five stars, and I highly recommend it.

The jungle sightings were unforgettable, and we loved the hospitality, service, and delicious food at Gourissa Resort. It was just the Madhai jungle resort experience we wanted. Highly recommended!

The property is very close to madhai gate, which was handy. We had a comfortable stay, with clean rooms, good food, and very courteous staff. A wonderful experience overall, and a must visit.
