Araiya Gir,a Mavintara Resort

The food had plenty of flavors to choose from and was a real highlight for us. Service was just as impressive, with courteous staff who paid attention to small details. GM Mr. Devansh personally checked that we were comfortable, and the high standards across Araiya Resort, Gir reflect his leadership. The property was exceptionally clean and had a real sense of luxury. From arrival onward, everything felt smooth and polished. If you want wilderness alongside luxury, Araiya is a great choice. Highly recommended!

The only hiccup was the wait for meals, sometimes around 30 minutes after ordering, especially at lunch, even though the restaurant was empty that day. The food itself was delicious. We had a relaxing family stay, and the rooms, grounds, amenities, breakfast, and other meals were all fantastic. Araiya is about 10-15 minutes by car from Gir National Park. I'd definitely recommend it.

The food could use more consistency. The same dish came out differently at different meals, so getting it made to the preference we gave felt like luck. Still, our stay at Araiya Gir with friends was great. It's child friendly, with activities to keep the kids busy, and the safari was well organised. Mr. Hitesh was our guide and made it truly memorable. We saw 6 lionesses, so the visit felt successful in every way. I'd recommend staying 3 to 4 days with family or friends.

The villa and property were beautiful, but we had a very poor experience and didn't feel safe. At 1am, a staff member used a master key to enter our room without ringing the bell, then said he was meant to go to another room. The resort took no action. The restaurant also didn't have enough staff to serve customers.
