Fateh's Retreat

During my five weeks in India, this was a real gem. The grounds are gorgeous and very well cared for, with majestic views, especially from the pool, peaceful nature sounds and a joyful, calming atmosphere. My room felt brand new and was extremely clean, with amenities like those at five-star hotels in the USA. The hot water lasted long enough for showers, unlike at our other stays in India. I loved the peaceful patio views and the motorized curtains in the morning. The service was friendly and went above and beyond, and they accommodated all our needs. Breakfast was delicious, and the cafe next door was one of our favorite food experiences in India, with great food and service too. It's worth every rupee, and I'll recommend it to family and friends visiting the area.

We loved the conversations with Usha Rathore, daughter in law of Fateh Singh Rathore, and Jyoti. Their warmth and personal attention made the stay special, and the whole team was consistently helpful. Jyoti seemed to be everywhere whenever we needed something. Many thanks to everyone at the Retreat, we hope to return. And thank you for the organic, nutritious Amlas we had every day! The resort sits at the edge of the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve and forest, with beautiful gardens, an infinity pool looking out over the forest, and a cosy common area. It has the facilities of a five-star resort while still feeling personal and comfortable.

It feels like home, and I never want to leave. Such an amazing place, with great food, a lovely atmosphere and wonderful hospitality. Perfect for safaris.

The safaris were outstanding, and the rooms, beautifully set up with views over the hills, were lovely too. Fateh’s retreat is peaceful and in a beautiful location. Jyoti, Mukesh and the rest of the staff went above and beyond, taking every precaution so I could enjoy the full menu despite my severe food allergy. Thank you!
