The Fern Ranthambhore Forest Resort Sawai Madhopur, Series by Marriott

We were a family group of 10 and stayed for 2 nights. The resort was peaceful, the location was good, and the staff were cooperative. At the restaurant, Mr.Nitish kumar was particularly helpful in arranging proper Jain food for us. Mr. Rajesh at the front office also arranged a cake and music system for a small private anniversary celebration for my uncle and aunt. The rooms were clean enough for a comfortable stay, but some weren't in good condition and the property needs renovation. The food also needs a lot of improvement to meet Fern standards.

The garden and grounds are beautiful and very well cared for, and the magic show and folk singing add an enjoyable cultural touch. But the service is still average, and a more professional approach would better match the resort's brand and prices. The rates feel high for the experience, while the complimentary breakfast is just average. I've noticed the service quality at Fern Resort gradually declining over time, perhaps because of seasonal crowds and the sanctuary's growing popularity. Hygiene also needs attention: rats were seen entering the room, so guests should be careful with food and clothes. Management should address this.

The food was tasty and consistently satisfying, with a good choice of Indian and continental dishes. The staff were courteous, helpful, and professional, and the pool, landscaped gardens, and open spaces made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds, well-kept bathrooms, modern amenities, and pleasant views. The Fern Ranthambore is close to Ranthambore National Park, so it's convenient for wildlife safaris, yet the green, peaceful setting feels like a break from city life. The brand's sustainable practices were apparent and made the stay feel refreshing and responsible. A comfortable, relaxing option for families, couples, and nature lovers.

Breakfast was the best we've had on our travels in India, and the staff were helpful with everything we needed. Kum Kum, Priya, Megraj, and Devi gave excellent service. We were welcomed professionally and courteously when we arrived. Our room was clean, though a little dated and in need of modernisation. There were no tea cups at first, but reception sorted that promptly. I'd recommend the hotel to friends and would definitely return.
