OYO 93463 Alwal Residency

The hotel was very well maintained, the rooms were good, and my stay was good too. Reasonable price. All good. 👍👍

The room was clean, since the place was very new and some rooms were still under construction. But the shower didn't work properly, with only a trickle of hot water, and the whole experience with Oyo was very disappointing. I booked through Booking.com and paid half as a deposit. The listing said I could pay the rest at the hotel. Then someone claiming to be from Oyo sent me a WhatsApp message saying rooms were selling out and the balance had to be paid right away. Thinking it was really Oyo, I transferred the rest by bank. The person said the payment had been declined and sent a screenshot. I was about to board my flight and said I couldn't make another transaction, then they told me my room was cancelled. At the hotel, someone said it hadn't been Oyo but a fraudster. I had no idea this kind of thing was happening. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want a miserable experience.

I had a good stay. Best hotel in alwal, and the staff were good to talk to.

Good rooms, and the staff spoke very nicely.
