We spent two days here in mid-December and had a really pleasant stay. The caretaker was so kind, and our room felt cozy, with warm lighting, and was clean. We had a two-wheeler and could park it there. As pure vegetarians, we were delighted to get aloo-poori and paratha with chickpeas. There was a heater in the room, and we could go up to the roof to watch the meteor shower.

The rooms are decent, but the balcony and stairs are really narrow. Breakfast didn't taste good, and the stay felt a little costly. There isn't any car parking, and the road is narrow too. It also takes a long time to get to Police Bazaar. I wouldn't recommend it, as there may be better hotels or homestays near Police Bazaar.

We paid 3.5K for a nice, comfortable master bedroom on 28th Dec. The room was comfy and the small washroom was clean. It's a good stay, though the property is a bit tucked away and the roads are very narrow.

The staff were quick to help and treated us so well that we felt relaxed and looked after. This was honestly one of our best hotel experiences, and A La Maison went beyond what we expected. Just be aware that A La Masion serves breakfast only, with no restaurant or food area on the premises. Zomato and Swiggy are available, or you can walk 7-8 minutes to 'Trelly', where there’s delicious food at affordable prices. Couples and families visiting Shillong should give A La Masion a try. Based on our recent stay, we highly recommend it.

We spent two nights here with a group of friends, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. We also liked the balcony view. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout, and the location was easy to reach. Ms Vivi, who manages the hotel, is a really kind and helpful person. Vivi and the team arranged a lovely stay for us. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this place to families, couples, and friends.
