The team made a real effort to keep us comfortable, and the service was generally efficient. There was a slight wait during peak hours, which is understandable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, well maintained, and had good amenities. Housekeeping was prompt, and staff were courteous and helpful throughout our visit. Alpine continental has a central location, handy for Police Bazaar and other key spots in Shillong. The in-house restaurant served tasty food with decent variety, and breakfast was satisfying. For the location, comfort, and service, it offers good value for money.

The worst part was the dirty bedsheets. They looked as if they hadn't been changed, and the stains looked like dried blood. That's unacceptable. The food was horrible too. There was no running water early in the morning, so I had to switch rooms at 6 AM just to use the washroom. The room was extremely overpriced for its quality, and I couldn't find anything remotely satisfactory. I've never had a worse hotel stay.

There were no outlets by the bed, and even packaged drinking water came at an extra charge. The bathroom had poor drainage, so water kept backing up and spreading everywhere. Breakfast buffet was a disaster and well below expectations. The stay was disappointing and definitely not worth it.

The food was decent, but I wouldn't recommend coming here. Even the small extras, like an extra mattress or bottled water, cost more. They did move us to another room, though that one still wasn't up to standard. The first room was smelly, poorly ventilated, and had broken doors. A staff member was so rude they really need to learn some manners. I've stayed at lots of hotels and never had service like that. Honestly, this is the worst hotel I've ever been to. Thank you.

The location is prime, and the staff are polite, but the service doesn't measure up. Rooms are small, and the bedsheets especially weren't clean. Breakfast and dinner choices are limited. For this level of service, it's overpriced.
