Ajay and Suraj made sure we were comfortable throughout, and the location was great, about a 15-minute walk from the Ridge. I had trouble booking through the property agents, so I ended up doing it online myself. A kitchen trash bin and a couple of towel hooks would have been useful. We had an awesome stay.

Suraj was a great help, sorting out rides and food and helping with whatever we needed. The apartment has lovely city and hillside views, with tall deodar trees outside the balcony. It’s in a quiet, upscale area near government offices, away from Mall Road, but still only about 1 km from the church there, reached by a pretty walk under the trees. Inside, we found a warm room and hall, heating for the cold weather, and a cozy, well-kept place.

We had a relaxing two-night family stay at Alaya Stays, with sunrise and sunset views from the property. The place was quiet, very clean, and housekeeping came regularly. It’s an easy walk to Mall Road, and parking was simple too. Our rooms were spacious and had a refrigerator, microwave, and a fully equipped kitchen with cooking utensils. There was plenty of sunlight, plus a balcony, room warmer, heating, hot water, Wi-Fi, and safety and parking facilities. Caretaker Suraj was polite, responsive, and especially helpful at check-in, which went smoothly. It felt luxurious while still being comfortable and peaceful. I’d recommend it to families, couples, people staying longer, or anyone on a workation in Shimla.

We found the place clean and comfortable, with the basics we needed already there, so everything went smoothly. Mall Road is close by, and the area felt safe and convenient. Caretaker Ajay was always available and very helpful. We had a really pleasant stay at Baljees Forest Hill and would recommend it.
