Goroomgo Green Valley Home Stay Shimla

Greenery all around, roomy and comfortable rooms, and delicious home-cooked food. We really liked the atmosphere, and this is one of the homestays that will stay in my memory. The host welcomed us warmly, and the family were very friendly. They showed us a lovely gesture at the end of the day. The service, atmosphere, food, and hospitality were amazing, the kind of warmth I haven’t found in a five-star hotel.

From our room, the view of the valley was beautiful, and the name "Green Valley" fits it well. Mr. Shivin was sweet and helpful, and Saurav’s service was excellent. They were empathetic and paid attention to what guests needed. I’d recommend staying here if you’re travelling in a group and want to share one room. The drawback is the distance from Mall Road, around 30 minutes away. Traffic is always an issue, and there’s no free parking on the property, though paid parking is available.

We stayed in May'22 and it was comfortable, just like staying at home. Gopal ji, the owner, is kindhearted and very helpful. Mall road is nearby, and paid parking is available close to the property.

It’s a peaceful, clean, and tidy place, easy to get to, with car parking very close by. The environment is good for children if you’re staying with kids. Mr. & Mrs. Sharma Ji gave us lovely hospitality and made it feel like home. They don’t seem money-minded like other hotels and homestays.
