The hotel sits high above the road, so getting there takes some effort. We booked online through OYO rooms, but when we arrived they said they wouldn’t accept online bookings. It felt like a trick to charge customers more during the season. The rooms were clean, but we wasted a few hours waiting. If you book a hotel online in shimla, I’d suggest confirming directly with the hotel that they’re taking online bookings. Don’t pay in advance through apps like oyo goibibo or yatra.

Stay away from this place. I booked through OYO, but when I arrived they said I had cancelled and offered me a room instead. They charged the same amount listed on OYO, yet none of the facilities advertised there were available. There was no Wi-Fi or water, and the room was dirty. I had a terrible experience, and it felt like they do this to every customer.

The room was average, and the hotel is a long way from the main tourist spots. It was cheaper than other hotels, though. No AC or Wi-Fi, but there was a TV, geyser, and room service. Service was average too.

The staff were kind, though a little lazy, and the rates felt somewhat high. The location is an issue, especially if you're travelling with older people, so I wouldn't recommend it for them. For a group of young people, it could work since the hotel offers privacy.

The rooms and washrooms are good, and the food is great. There’s no backup power, though, which can be a real problem in winter when the lights and hot water aren’t available.
